ABOUT CENTRAL AQUATIC

Rich History… Bright Future
Central Aquatic trains on the ancestral lands of the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. Our club would like to acknowledge our First Nations peoples as the Traditional Owners and pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, past, present and emerging, for their continued custodianship of these lands.

Welcome to Central Aquatic Swimming and Lifesaving Club. The Club was formed in 1993 and is a proud and inclusive member of the Bayswater community.

Training is in the outside 50m pool at Bayswater Waves for 48 weeks of the year, in partnership with the de Lacy Swim School.

Central Aquatic has been producing State and National Qualifiers in pool, openwater swimming and lifesaving, as well as Olympians and Para-Olympians since its inception.

In addition to the water space at Bayswater Waves, the Club has clubrooms with a functioning kitchen and dedicated storage available for its members to use for the purposes of social and for skills development of swimmers and lifesavers.

The Club is strongly supported in its partnerships with both Bayswater Waves and the City of Bayswater and would like to acknowledge and thank these partners for their ongoing commitment to fostering swimming and lifesaving in the community.

Central Aquatic has a fantastic community of swimmers, parents and volunteers of all ages who are dedicated to making sure swimming is fun and rewarding. Everyone is not only encouraged, but welcomed to join us in whatever capacity they feel comfortable.
