Welcome to Central Aquatic Swimming and Lifesaving Club.
Central Aquatic Swimming and Lifesaving Club has a focus upon striving to achieve your personal best while having fun.
Central Aquatic Swimming and Lifesaving Club began in 1993. In 2014 we celebrated our 21st Anniversary. The Club has a long standing affiliation with the de Lacy Swim School.
As a team, we endeavour to promote our swimmers both competitively and socially. The promotion of a positive attitude towards swimming and life saving experiences underpins all that we do. A key ingredient for our club swimmers’ is to enjoy their swimming and the companionship of teammates. We strongly encourage parents to support their children in these endeavours.
Since inception, the Club has helped develop and foster aquatic talent, including state, national and internationally known swimmers. The Club aims to encourage swimmers of all ages and all skill levels to grow and develop, to be the best they can be both in and out of the pool.
The future of our swimming club lies in our hands, so it’s important we work collaboratively.

I was a founding member of the swimming club 23 years ago. It has been an incredible to be a part of this club, which has supported me throughout my career, and in my life. Central Aquatic is a family club, which has always been welcoming. No matter how long I spent away from the club, whilst training in Canberra and Adelaide or competing overseas, I always felt welcomed upon my return. As a result, I will always consider myself a part of this club. Though it provided a platform from which I could start my career, which ultimately took me to the Olympic and Commonwealth Games and World Championships. Central Aquatic is a fun club the atmosphere is friendly and supportive, which members of all ages enjoy.
I have been a member of the Central Aquatic Swimming and Lifesaving club for nearly 20 years. It provides a unique place within the local community, offering both swimming and lifesaving activates. Keep up the good work!
